Band Website Featuring Albums and CD's

Blessed End is a musical group formed in the late 1960's whose sound has been labeled psychedelic or garage band. These five musicians were from Ridley Park and Springfield, PA. USA. Their one and only album was released on vinyl in 1971. There are a few copies of the LP in collectors' hands, however, not many originals still exist. After 26 years the surviving members have reunited and anything is possible. Stay tuned to this site for updates.

SPECIAL APPEARANCE

Jim and Mike made an appearance on WNYU-FM (89.1) radio in New York City on Monday June 29, 1998 as guest DJs. It was live on the weekly PLastic Tales Show from 9:00 - 10:30 PM EST. The show specializes in psychedelic / garage music from the 60s and 70s. They featured the new Movin' On CD, told lots of good stories, and fielded many phone calls from listeners. Thanks to the Paisley Piper for inviting us on the show. If you would like to see the photos from the radio show click here.

Available Now : "Movin' On" re-issue on CD:

Recorded from the 1971© original master tapes featuring new material and never before seen band pictures. Liner notes written by the band members themselves. Pressing limited to 1000 copies. CD's are available here.

Sound clipsThis album is our 1971© original release. It is a compilation of 10 songs written by Steve Quinzi - Keyboards and Jim Shugarts - Guitar. Three months of blood, sweat and tears went into the effort. The other band members are Ken Carson - Bass, Mike Petrylak - Drums, and Doug Teti - Vocals. A bootleg version of the album was pressed in Austria in 1992, however, the quality was poor and the cover was white. There are only a couple of mint condition 1971© original LPs left, still in shrink wrap, and are available at this site.
